Happy Halloween

Halloween is finally here. Jackson was a knight and Makenna a fairy. Micah took the kids out trick-or-treating, while I stayed home and passed out candy, then we switched jobs. Micah didn't go to enough houses for the kids and they wanted to still go out. I think they got enough candy, and they had a fun time. They even waited until they got home to eat any of their candy. I remember last year, Makenna was trying to eat it once it was put into her bag, so she was a sticky mess by the time we got home. I hope that everyone had a happy halloween!!

321..Halloween is Fun!!

Last night we carved pumpkins at Micah's parents home with Ben and Lacy. Can you guess who is on each pumpkin?? Tonight is the halloween carnival that we aren't sure if we are going to. We may stay home and watch a movie. Isn't halloween so much fun!!

Trunk-or-treat

For preschool this morning all the kids got to go trunk-or-treat. So Jackson got to wear his costume to preschool and the last 30 minutes they went to all the parent's trunk to get treats. Once we were done giving out candy, Makenna helped herself to some of the candy we had left. We also stopped by dad's work and trick-or-treated there.

Halloween party

Micah and I were invited to a halloween costume party last night. I can't believe that I was able to get Micah to dress up, but he did. I got this costume idea from my sister, Candice. Thanks Candice!! We had a fun time. We ate yummy food, played several different games, and we even won at Boncos and got a fun prize.

Fun times

Jackson and Makenna spend a lot of time riding their bicycles. It was such a beautiful day Sat. so we spent a lot of time outside enjoying the nice fall weather. I took a few videos of the kids playing outside on their bikes and with Peaches(Ben and Lacy's dog)

Micah got his deer!!

Micah, his brothers Blaze and James, and my brother Quinn all went out early Sat. and hunted all day. They saw a law of bucks in the distance and could never get close enough to shoot anything. After hunting all day with no success, they decided to quit and come home. Well on their way to the 4-wheelers they saw a 2 point buck and Micah was able to get it. He really didn't want a picture taken by it, since it was so small, but Quinn had his camera with him and took one. This was the first year Micah decided to go hunting since we moved back to Lund. He had fun, but was very tired when he got home. Quinn didn't realize that hunting was a lot of work if you end up shooting a deer. I am glad that hunting season is over with, so we can have Micah home on Sat. again.

It's snowing

We went from beautiful weather to snow in less than a week. Monday was sunny and warm. Jackson enjoyed climbing in grandma Ewell's apple tree. Today it is freezing and snowing. Although Jackson was excited to get out and play in our first snow this year. We are at my parent's home today while Micah goes Deer hunting. Micah, my dad, and brother Quinn went out in this snow hunting. They just got home and they said they found 2 really nice bucks and Micah shot at them at bout 500 yards, but wasn't succesful. They tried to follow them, but finally gave up, because it was snowing too hard and they lost its tracks. So he didn't get one today, but he does have next weekend and maybe his brothers will want to go with him.

Preschool

Jackson started preschool today. He was so excited. He was ready to play with all his friends, so I had to remind him that he is going to school to learn, and that this wasn't a playdate. Jackson is growing up so fast it is hard to believe that he is already starting preschool. He is a smart little boy and will have a fun time.

Happy Birthday Micah!!

Micah turns 29 years old today. We let him open all his presents before he left for work. Tonight we will invite family members to our house for some homemade carrot cake. We picked all our carrots out of the garden, so I asked what kind of cake Micah wanted and he said carrot cake, so that is what I made him. I am also making his favorite meal for lunch. Chicken chulupus. Happy Birthday Micah, We love you!!

Feeding the Ducks

Last Tue. during my lunch break I took the kids to the duck pond to feed the ducks. My mom was watching another little girl, so she also came. As you can see the ducks were hungry and they all come toward you when you start throwing bread. Makenna also liked feeding the pigeons. (P.S. Makenna did have her hair done today, but she always takes it out).

Happy October

Are you getting tired of seeing pictures of my kids yet?? I got them some cute halloween tops and had them wear them today, since it is October and halloween is this month. If you can't read Makenna's shirt it says, "My magical powers is being cute." and Jackson's says, "Don't make me scare you." Happy October!!
