Kaylee's special day

Today was a special day for Kaylee. We were able to bless her today in church and had lots of family there to share this day with her. Her grandma Jeanne made her blessing dress and she looked beautiful in it. I thought today would be a good day to stay all through church. Well I should have just gone home after sacrament meeting, because I missed all the other meetings taking care of Kaylee.
My grandma & grandpa Ewell came to Lund to be here for Kaylee's blessing

Another week gone by

I have a hard time updating as the event happens, so I thought I would try and do this a week at a time. Makenna had a fun birthday on the 6th. She was so excited to turn 4.

Grandma and grandpa Ewell didn't get to celebrate with us on the 6th, so they came down on the 7th and we got to celebrate Makenna's birthday again. It was also Makenna's first day of preschool.

Makenna is such a big helper with Kaylee. She will hold her when I need to get some things done. I thought this was a cute picture of Makenna putting Kaylee to sleep.
Wow, has it already been 2 weeks today since Kaylee was born. My friend, Kristy gave my kids these tops, so I thought what a cute picture to take.

Happy Birthday Makenna

All of our children's birthdays are right in a row. It is finally Makenna's day. She turns 4 today and has been waiting a long time for this day, because she knew when the baby was born, then it would be her birthday, since Kaylee was due around it. Happy Birthday cute girl!!

Jackson's 1st day of school

Jackson had to miss his real first day of school, because that was the day Kaylee was born. Micah gave Jackson a choice to either go to school or go see the new baby and of course who would want to miss seeing his new baby sister. So Jackson started school a few days later then the rest of his classmates. He is in the first grade and has enjoyed his first two days.
Here are a few more cute pictures of our children

Surprise it's a Girl

We welcomed Kaylee into this world on Monday August 30th at 8:29am. She is so far our biggest child at 7lbs 12 oz. and was 20 inches long. I love her brown hair. Our ultrasound was obviously wrong and instead of having a boy we were surprised when we actually had a girl. We are glad she is finally here and is healthy and doing well.
August 31st, we stopped in Ely on our way home from the hospital so my parents and family could see our preciouse little girl
