We love Kaylee

The other day I tried to spike up Kaylee's hair. She still doesn't have enough to really do anything with, but it was still fun to see. Today, she got to try something new out. The jumper, and as you can see, she really liked it.(I tried downloading a video of her in the jumper, but it failed twice, so I may try one more time later) Makenna loved pushing her in it like a swing.

FHE

My kids have been wanting to go bowling for Family Home Evening and since I work on Mondays we were already in Ely and we decided to go last night with Candice and Moroni. They had a fun time and Jackson got a strike on his first bowl!!

St. George

This past weekend we went to St. George. My parents bought a home there and they have a swimming pool that we like to play in when we are there. Micah has been trying to teach the kids how to swim and not be afraid of the water. Jackson can now back float on his own.

Rolling over

Kaylee rolled over for the first time on New years day while we were in Idaho. I actually haven't seen her do it, but when I lay her on her back and next thing I know she is on her stomach. She has been doing that a lot lately, so I took some pictures of her in action today

The rest of our December

The one thing I hate most about wintertime are colds and having sick kids. It would be nice if we we all had colds at the same time, but NO lets have them drag on from one child to the next and seem to last forever. That is how it has been at our house these past few weeks and when do you decide to finally take them to the doctor to see if the cold has turned into an infection. I am giving it another day, maybe 2 to see if I need to take Jackson and Kaylee in to see our wonderful doctors in Ely :) I think it hits hard on the mom(ME) because I worry about them, don't get much sleep(which is what I have had to sacrifice with having another baby and I need sleep), and I hate seeing them not feeling good. Anyway, now lets talk about the best part of our last few weeks. Just a warning there are tons of pictures, since I haven't posted for awhile, but enjoy!

First, Micah and I celebrated our 9th year wedding anniversary on the 21st. We stayed home and had a candle lit dinner(of left overs) and sparkling apple cider with our kids.(I was very sick with a cold-need we say anymore about that) Micah did take the day off from work and helped clean the house and took care of the kids so I could get a much needed nap. Micah also surprise me and told me that for our ten year we are going to Hawaii and he already has a babysitter for our kids while we are gone. How exciting!!

On Jackson's last day of school which was the 22nd, I helped plan his Christmas party. They decorated sugar cookies, made hand wreaths, and got to open gifts from a classmate and their teacher. They also had a Christmas program and sang lots of Christmas songs.
On Christmas Eve we had a lot going on. All of Micah's siblings and families were here for Christmas. Micah and Jake took the kids on a tube ride behind the rhino. There were a total of 7 kids(we invited the neighbor kids) and one adult that fit on that tube.

The ladies of the family, we all got this yummy Christmas eve dinner made for everyone. I was in charge of the rolls and gravy. After dinner, we had some family time together, where we acted out and read the story of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. All the grandkids got beanbags from Grandpa Gilbert and grandma Jeanne a day early, so they could relax in them while we spent time together.

We also took the kids to the Christmas program at the church where each one got to sit on Santa's lap and he gave them a gift. Kaylee and Katie had the same Christmas dress on, what cute girls.

One more thing before going to bed and waking up Christmas morning. The kids got to open one present and are wearing their new pj's that they got.December 25th, Merry Christmas!! We got up early to celebrate Christmas at our house and then off to Ely to spend the morning with my family.

We came back to Lund around 2pm and finished celebrating Christmas with Micah's family. Grandma Ludean gave all the new baby girls the same sweater for Christmas(Bailey, Madison, Kaylee, and Katie) We had everyone at our house later that evening and since I got a new big screen TV we took it downstairs and half of the room was playing the Wii and the other half was playing rock band on PS3. Makenna and Jackson enjoyed playing with the things that they got for Christmas with their cousins. On the 30th, Kaylee turned 4 months old. She is growing way to fast and is such a sweet little girl. We love having her in our family.December 30th-Jan. 2nd, We spent up in Idaho at my grandma Esplin's home. We played games, ate a lot of food, and got to visit with all the relatives who came over to my grandma 's while we were there. Dec. 31st I dressed my cute girls in the same outfit, Kaysie and I trying to grab the bag with our mouth, and Makenna didn't quite make it to celebrate the new year. Happy New Year!! I hope that everyone has a wonderful 2011
