Finally a new update

I have just been busy with Christmas, New Years, and clean-up of the holidays so now I have a little time to update on what we have been doing. Christmas was a lot of fun. Makenna didn't cry this year when she went and sat on Santa's lap Christmas eve. Although she said that she was going to. It is fun to have little ones to help bring out the spirit of Christmas. Micah surprised me with a new dinning room table, (which we really needed). He also made a bench from his grandparent's pine tree that he cut down this fall. He even burned a ranch scene into it. We have the bench sitting in our garage. The kids got a lot of fun things from everyone.

The kids and I went to Idaho on Mon. the 28th-Sat. the 2nd and spent a lot of time with my relatives. We got to see a few movies, stay up late, and eat a lot. There wasn't much snow in Idaho until Thur and Fri., so we finally get to play in it. On our way home Sat. we stopped in Sandy, UT to go to the Ewell Christmas party. Meanwhile, Micah stayed home and worked at the shop and on our basement. I was very surprised at how much he got done and now I feel like we can get it done by this summer. Since it is all framed and almost all sheetrocked, I have been putting a lot of sheet rock screws in. Jackson was excited to get back to school on Mon. I wasn't too excited getting back to laundry, cleaning, and work. Holidays are always fun, but go way to fast!!
Jackson found these toy glasses and loved wearing them. He said he was Simon one of the chipmunks.
Happy New Year!!

Oh, it looks all so fun. Brings back a lot of good memories seeing the pictures of grandma Esplin's basement and the sledding.
