The past week

**Warning** Don't read or look at the picture if you get grossed out by cold issues. :) I started getting sick with a cold about a week ago, my throat has been hurting, I have had a headache off and on, you know the fun part of having colds. Well this morning I woke up and it felt like I had tons of mucous in my throat and that I needed to clean it out, my voice also sounded funny and it felt like my breathing was a little blocked off. My throat has really been sore, so I decided to take a look at it this morning. This is what I saw. A swollen uvula. I have never had this happen to me. It looked like someone had filled it up with fluid. So I did take a picture of it.

Now for the better part of the week. June 2nd, was Jackson's last day of school. I think Jackson was the only child excited for summer break. Each child got awards from their teacher and she made them a scrapbook of the school year.

Right when school got out we drove to Ely and went to my parent's home. I had to take this cute picture of Kaylee.

June 3rd was the day we had a party for my birthday on our new deck. It still isn't done, but we had a fun time eating dinner out on it and we are sure going to enjoy it this summer. We even roasted marshmellows on our new grill.
