It's Halloween Time!!
The Halloween parties have just begun. Friday night we had our adult Halloween party at our neighbors house. Micah and I dressed up as rock climbers(kind of boring, I know) The couple that won the costume judging, the wife was a ghost and her husband was a ghost buster. They were cute. We had a yummy dinner, played family feud, and a few other games, and it was just nice to get together with all our friends and no kids. Next years theme is haunted mansion, so if you have any good ideas for costumes, please let me know.
Sat. night was the school Halloween carnival. We all dressed up, and I think we look like the odd ball family. I wanted everyone to be a crayon, but no one liked my idea and wanted to be their own thing. We had a lot of fun. There was a costume contest(none of us won), lots of games for everyone, and the kids loved the bounce house.

Games-Plinko and ring toss, plus there were lots more, but I figured I didn't need to take pictures of all of them.

The bounce house, my kids sometimes were a little wild jumping down the slide.

Tomorrow the kids will have their Halloween parties at school. I will be helping out with Jackson's, plus it is Halloween so we will be trick-or-treating after school. Happy Halloween!!

Pinenut picking
Friday I spent 4 hours up Saw Mill Canyon picking pinenuts off the ground. My kids and I went with their grandma's, Jeanne and Ludean. It was a beautiful day and the kids did really well. We took a lunch and ate it while we were picking. I think Jackson and Makenna lasted about 1 hour with the picking of pinenuts and then they were off playing on this rock hill slide that they discovered. They first threw rocks down it, then by the end they made a slide and they went down it. Kaylee spent the first 2 hours in her stroller(I was hoping that she would take a nap, but no luck), but had it after that. She would rather be on the ground getting dirty, although she did pick a few nuts up.

More Soccer & Happy Birthday MICAH!!
Happy Birthday, Micah!!! Today is Micah's birthday, although we did let him open his presents on the 5th. He has a deer tag and it opened on the 5th, so I figured since he was going to go hunting before his birthday, then he could open his presents(he got some camo clothes). I don't know who enjoyed opening the presents more, the kids or Micah! :)

Micah is already and excited to go hunting. He went out Thur. morning and saw no deer, but 3 huge Elk. Too bad he wasn't hunting Elk!
Every Sat. Jackson and Makenna have soccer games. I have had to miss a few of Jackson's games, because he is playing the same time as Makenna. Since I am coaching Makenna's team, I can't leave to watch Jackson. Last Sat. I got to see the last 5 minutes of Jackson's game. They are both playing very well. Jackson almost scored a goal in the last picture.
