Favorite Blanket

Did you ever have a favorite blanket growing up?? I know I did, and I have let my kids have a favorite blanket. Well Jackson has put a good 4 years into his blanket and those who have seen it lately, it looks pretty raggedy. I decided to try and make a new one for him that looks just like his old one used to, but bigger. I let Jackson pick out the material and away I went trying to make this blanket. I don't know how many times I poked and scratched my fingers with the needle and pins, but it took me about 2 weeks and I just finished it last night. Micah took Jackson's old blanket and hid it and we gave him his new one. We are hoping that Jackson will adjust to his new one and we can get rid of his old one for good. We are keeping it around(hidden of course) just in case he has a melt down, but he hasn't said anything about it.
